Lakshmika Mills Activated Carbon is produced exclusively from renewable coconut shells. Utilizing advanced steam activation technology in rotary kilns, the carbon develops a highly dense microporous structure, offering superior adsorption performance and high surface area.

Our activated carbon is specifically characterized by high mechanical hardness and low attrition, making it extremely durable for continuous abrasive circuits, such as gold extraction columns and high-pressure fluid beds.

Gold Mining

Essential for recovery in Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP), and Carbon-in-Column (CIC) gold extraction circuits. Excellent hardness prevents carbon attrition and gold loss in elution.

Adsorbs organic chemicals, pesticides, chlorine, odor, and trace impurities. Widely utilized in municipal drinking water, industrial process water, and Effluent/Sewage Treatment Plants (ETP/STP).
